Christians Against Poverty (CAP)
A national debt counselling charity with a network of 102 centres based in local churches. CAP offers hope and a solution to anyone in debt through its unique, in-depth service.
Citizen’s Advice Bureau
Helps people resolve legal, money and other problems by providing free information and advice.
Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS)
A registered charity offering free, confidential advice and support to anyone who is worried about debt.
Credit Service Association (CSA)
The only national association in the UK for companies active in relation to unpaid credit accounts, of which 1st Credit is a member.
DBSG
Works for the benefit of those involved in buying or selling debts (or intermediaries in the sale process).
Gain Inspiration
An online resource established by 1st Credit that provides useful information, advice and techniques to use when seeking employment.
National Debtline
Helpline that offers free confidential and independent advice for people living in England, Scotland and Wales.
Payplan
The UK’s largest provider of free debt solutions, including free debt management plans and Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs).
Credit Action
Credit Action are a national money education charity dedicated to better thinking about money. They offer a range of resources, tools and training to help everybody handle their money well.
Money Advice Map
The Money Advice Map is an easy-to-use internet search facility to help you find your nearest free and independent face-to-face money and legal advice centre, so that you can receive expert advice in your local community.
